Yes, I have decided to become a Freedman on the land. Does anyone have any houses to rent?

In Canada we just call it hockey. Not ice hockey, not adult hockey, just... hockey.

Fair enough. Ball hockey is super popular right now, so I have been getting in the habit of specifying.

I just played 1 season in the ASHL. Was my first season ever with no real experience asides from winter time pickup growing up and it went pretty well.

One of my pet peeves as well. You can call other things ball hockey, roller hockey, field hockey, etc. But when it comes to the sport played on ice, it's simply hockey. Calling it "ice" is a dead giveaway that you're European or American.

Don't pick up any bad habits, like diving, biting or hair-pulling.

If you are looking for where the adult hockey is played in Vancouver, just head towards any mushroom cloud, or plume of smoke on the horizon, and there is a good bet you will find the arena in the general area.

Why wouldn't you ask the questions in the original post? Why would you need a captive audience before deciding which questions you'd like answered?

Bc I like to be mysterious and have everyone's attention on me, I am American after all. My real question was where is the hockey played East of town? Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Langley. I see Super 8 in Burnaby as a big hub that handles a lot of games, was just trying to see where a bulk of the leagues/games are played for people East of town that don't want to drive all the way to Burnaby, Vancouver, North Shore etc..

I answered your PM but to also answer this question there are men's leagues in just about every city here. Burnaby would be the biggest with 8 rinks but every city will have a men's league in their community rinks at night. Maple Ridge has a decent 4 rink stadium and a good men's league. Same with Langley at the twin rinks. I have guys on my team from west Van to Chilliwack.
What/where were you thinking?
