Well we have 12 confirmed, not good. Hopefully with the next advance people will start showing up again. I will advance Saturday moening and Wednesday morning. After that we will be back on schedule.

I'm Boston and I'm leaving the league. My team was brutal from the beginning, its tough making deals as I feel like I'm missing out having a blackberry that doesn't support text plus.

Even though I didn't win much, I had a great time and want to thank all the cool people that I played games against. Good luck to all of you in the upcoming season.

I urge you all to download textplus and join us this season.

Having the group chat and the ability to message GMs directly really adds to the experience and the fun times. It makes scheduling the games a breeze and greatly enhances the trading part of the game.

It only takes a minute to download and install. One minute.

Some peoples phones can't use this app, maybe you could suggest an instant messaging app that works on more platforms.

If your phone doesn't have apps at all... well.. then its time for a new phone. It's 2013 man!

Alright, now that all of the old stuff from last season has been archived, we're a bit more organized around here.

Feel free to post new threads regarding any trades or signings as they happen. We had quite a bit of fun with that last season.

We've got separate threads for team rosters, trading blocks, and the waiver wire. I guess we'll make this the "general discussion" thread for this season, at least for right now.

We'll likely end up doing what Jobo did last year, making a new thread for each schedule advance, to help with matching up playing times and such.

And from what Jedaco and I can tell, we currently have 9 teams that are being controlled by the CPU. Those teams are the Buffalo Sabres, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Detroit Red Wings, Ottawa Senators, St Louis Blues, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals, and the Winnipeg Jets.

If you know anyone that would be interested in taking on a team, by all means, let them know. It kind of sucks how the CPU teams lost their pending free agents to the rest of us, but it is what it is. Hopefully if our league can be continued on in NHL '14 (it's all just text stored in a database anyway), then it will help attract people, and really make GM's think about the long term impact of any moves that they make.

Please, everyone, check out the new thread I made that has a complete listing of all the teams and the contact info for each General Manager. Each person should have their CP name, PSN ID, and Text+ ID listed. There are a couple of things missing for some people, so if that's you, then please either PM me with the necessary corrections, or post them in this thread.
