Phoenix adds some toughness, adds Lucic

after being dismantled in the first round of the playoffs, Phoenix GM Sim wanted to add some team toughness to the soft-ness of the core.

To do this we added Milan Lucic into the mix. We have long been targetting Lucic as an addition to the team and are glad to have closed a deal.

We gave up good pieces to get him, but at the end of the day the deal fit the needs of the team, whereas the outgoing players would sit on the 4th line.

To PHI:
Adam Henrique
Kyle Clifford

To Phoenix:
Milan Lucic
Full cap from Lucic Salary to Henrique's salary (x-.5=cap sent)

We really like Henrique but felt Lucic adds an element to our team that we have wanted for a while. Unfortunately for us Henrique didn't have a stand-out NHL year so his rating wont be where we wanted him to be on his final ELC year.

Lucic didn't wana be part of the re-build. Get couple guys already playing in the nhl and another 1st round draft pick.

Few more to go..Ladd, Lupul, Goligoski, come get them.

No more cap left though, find your own cap from here an out, dont even ask.
