Do you guys free-ball it under swim trunks?

When I was a kid all swim trunks had a mesh ball basket. Now it seems none of them do. Are people wearing underwear underneath them? I've tried that but the trunks dry way faster then you are just walking around in wet underwear. I free-ball it now, but I find it less comfortable than the basket, and there is always the risk of frightening some poor child that gets an upshort view.

I've been wondering the same thing too. board shorts are just a little too rough to wear with nothing all day at the beach. cotton underwear of any kind definitely feel gross wet. I guess the under armour type is what you're supposed to wear?

I concur, highly recommend. Got a few pairs from a family member for Jesusmas, I can't wear anything else now. It's like resting your junk on a puffy cloud.

And I'd love to know where you find these netless bathing suits. I hate the net, gives me the biggest leg rash when I'm walking around the beach. I usually just end up cutting it out of my shorts. Posted from Calgarypuck.com App for Android

My swim shorts must be of the old variety, they still have the lining in them. Doesn't bug me too much. But some of these other options sound nice.

Course it goes to show you just how much I go swimming. Almost never.

If you want a basket for your boys go to sportchek, they have a solid selection. You can also pick up saxx there as well.

Otherwise, just grab some speedos.

Last alternative is to grab a short/ undershort combo from lulu lemon

I usually wear some cutoff jean shorts under my swim trunks.

Board shorts means no mesh and nothing underneath.
Shorter trunks for swimming laps at the pool stil have mesh afaik.

I usually find the cheaper the board short the more you need a liner.

Buy the good stuff so you do not need a liner.
