has a month long contest to vote for a charity of your choice. The winner receives $50,000. All the charities are worthwhile as they had to be nominated for entry.

I would ask for your support in voting for AARCS - Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society. They are a great charity who rely soley on volunteer support and fundraisers. They are an animal rescue who rescue from kill shelters, organize spay-neuter-a-thons, fundraising, adoptions, etc.

You can vote once a day. You do need to supply your email address though.

Just an update. AARCS - Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society won the first place prize in this contest ($20,000).

They did finish second in the total voting but there must have been some voting irregularities with the 1st place charity (they moved down to 2nd place).
