Calgarypuck Video Game Trade

Hey folks. Just wanted to see if there was any interest here in some sort of video game exchange. Usually when I am done with a game I either let it sit on my shelf collecting dust or I trade it into EB Games and get very little money for them. I figure if there are maybe some people here that would like to trade games they no longer play it might work out better.

Maybe what we can do is list games that you want to trade and then arrange trades from there provided you find something you're interested in. Ideally, the games you would like to trade should be in great condition and come with user manuals and a case.

Here's how we can maybe structure our lists to make it easier to quickly see who has what available. If need be we can share contact information though I would suggest exchanging that via private messages when you find a trader. Also, we don't really have to limit this to Calgary. Users not living in the city can post and trade via mail (probably about $2.00 to send games via regular mail in a bubble envelope).

I like the idea...I have a Wii but no real compelling games I am looking to get rid of....if someone wants to unload Big Brain Academy or Zelda I'd be interested.

I've been looking for Pikmin 2 for awhile now. I can't seem to find it used anywhere so maybe someone here could help me out.

On a somewhat related topic, does anyone know of good, non-chain video game stores in Calgary? I'm right near SAIT so something in that area would be perfect. I think I read on here there is one on 14th St, but I can't find anything in the yellow pages.

I think this would be a fantastic idea to have a permanent thread for this kinda thing. Probably be more suited for buy/sell though if it were to be made perm though.

Yeah bud, I am actually interested in Ninja Gaiden Sigma. I even tried buying it from eBay but I think I'll hold off. Do you think you can give me till the end of the work week (Friday) or maybe even till Sunday till we trade? I only get about 45-60 minutes a day to play games so sometimes it's slow going. With Uncharted I am about 65% complete and I think I can finish it really soon.

On a side note, I'll add some stuff to my main post that outlines how to list games which may make it easier for people to see who has what.

I am looking for an NHL hockey game for the PC that had the best franchise mode while still having a kick ass real-time game play. Graphics are not necessarily of prime importance. Mostly game-play and and franchise.

I love how ESPN Nhl 2k7 went on for about 180 years before my machine bought it.

I think it's called 'Revolution'. Small shop that i used to go to whenever i was around. They have a lot of old and rare games there but it's really overpriced. 14th and Northmount Dr., I believe.

Video Game Trader is on Centre Street and 12th Ave... very close to your area. Rogers on centre street really isn't all that bad, either.
