Yeah they focused a little too much on that particular game. They literally didn't mention 89 or 07 the entire broadcast. A lof of people forget that although 09 sucked, the Riders were only 1 season removed from winning a championship (well 2 if you count 09) and the loss wasn't seen as being the end of the world because the Riders had a very strong team that people thought would compete for a long time. The Riders do have a long history of heartache but 09 wasn't even the worst of it. And yeah, who wants to watch an hour long reminder of that moment anyway? It was nice as a backdrop or a jumping off point but shouldn't have been the entire focus.
Also wasn't a huge fan of all the choices for fan interviews. Who the hell was the redheaded guy that they interviewed? I got the distinct feeling he didn't know jack about football.
Loved the ending with Paul McCallum (who wasn't even on the 09 team as he'd left by then) dissing the Als.
It was also nice to see Duvall not keep up the ridiculous charade that he only missed because the flags distracted him. I know he tried to say that for a while after the game but everyone knew he'd legitimately missed.
They were obviously done very much in the mold of 30 for 30 and overall I thought the production was quite good.
