Advice on body work (truck)?

scraped and dented the side of my truck while away on holidays ... so need to pull a dent, fix a scrape and do some repaint.

the truck is older and I'm going to retire it to 2nd vehicle status in the spring so I'd like to go after some other road stone work at the same time

have heard you don't need to go to a conventional method any more

thoughts?

Paintless Dent Repair does not fix scratches. They are also booking into late october right now due to hail.
