Default Backyard Rinks

I know it's a lovely Friday in August, but my neighbour and I were talking about this over beers the other night.

We are planning to put in a joint backyard rink this year.

Trouble is anyone have any experience/resources/websites they would like to share?

Cheers

Here's an older thread on CP in which we were discussing our trials and tribulations during the building of our backyard rinks the past few years.

I'm in the process of putting together a bunch of pictures of the outdoor rink we built a couple years ago. Waiting on the pictures from friends.

Here is a teaser.

Cost was around $20,000. I'll post more when I get them.

When my kids were young, I used to build a rink in the backyard, as I always had one growing up. The utility company used the month I built it to estimate water consumption, and my utility bills were staggering for several months. When we got things sorted out the city owed us something like 50,000. gal. of water.
