Hwy 1 mudslide at Banff
There was a mudslide across HWY just west of Banff at about 3:30 this afternoon. The eastbound lanes have been reopened, but the westbound lanes are still closed and an estimate was made at 8 pm saying that they would remain closed for the next 5 hours. If you have plans to go past Banff tomorrow, you should probably check the road report before heading out.
