I've finally started playing games on consoles after about a decade (since the Dreamcast died).
I dumpster dived a free PS3 a few months ago and managed to bring it back to life. I'm not sure what to play now though. What are your favorite PSN games? I was playing Outrun Online and Afterburner Climax and having a blast the other day. I might enjoy these things more than actual PS3 games.
Super Stardust HD is my favourite. Shatter is like brick-breaker on acid if that's your thing. I've heard so many good things about Journey, I'd probably recommend it above all else (although it is quite short, so be forewarned).
There's a ton of awesome games available on PSN. If you're an RPG fan and enjoyed Chrono Trigger, do yourself a favor and download Chrono Cross immediately (PS1 game). Theme hospital (PS1) is a very good and very challenging building game kinda like Sim City... Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds is available and a great game to play with your buds online. There's a ton, I could go on forever, but this might be a start? I think you can get Rampage as well, which is a blast to play with your buds while you drink... and smoke.
Sidenote: I hated Shatter on PC with a mouse. Up-and-down instead of side-to-side paddle movement => hello massive hand cramps. Never got the damn Steam Treasure Hunt objective either (11,200,000 on Bonus mode).
