LF: Borrow a mini DV Video Camera - or somebody to digitize

Hey guys,

Ive got a bunch of old Mini DV tapes that I need to convert to digital. I would do this myself but my old camcorder is cooked. Does anybody have a mini DV video camera that I could borrow or offer a cheap price to get this converted? I have approx 10-13 tapes that need to be converted. Let me know.

I need to start on this project ASAP.

I have an old canon optura ... something. Battery is shot but it works if plugged in. You are welcome to borrow it. I keep thinking I'll get a new battery and let the kids play with it so dont want to sell it.

I think I have the firewire cable for this application somewhere, I converted a mini DV video for a friend a few months ago... I will let you know.
