Boffins -- what can't they do?
Nice effect with the picture of the snarling wolf to add just the right amount of scarocity.

I had to look it up. Apparently a military scientist doubles as a boffin.

My question is where is PETA in all this?
These boffins are actually killing these dogs.

on a side note, its bein a few hours, i held my dog as he went..... but i dont feel anything. to anyone who had to do this before, should i be expecting a "sinking in" moment in the next few hours? or am i just a robot?

I had a friend who left her window openm for the weekend (this is in December, Edmonton, -50) and froze her fish in a fish tank, the entire fishtank was a block of ice for 2 days. But, somehow (don't explain it to me, bio nerds, it remains funnier this way) they melted the fish tank ice cube and brought the fish back to life.

Oh yeah, it happens. My grandfather used to freeze his bait minnows, and every once in a while some would come back after they were unthawthed.
I think it has something to do with being cold blooded. Their biological functions are not dependent on a specific temperature window. Lowering the temperature just lowers their metabolism. That is, until you go down to far and tissue damage occurs.

I guess it would be sort of a "museum curiosity" type deal but I'd bet all sorts of science types and historians would love to have a living breathing person from say (randomly) the 10th century around today.
Linguists, geneticists, nutritionists, theologians... that kind of thing.
Did you ever see Encino Man? Wild stuff.

Like the other poster said, I don't know how this didn't cause any kind of brain damage. Was the ice-cold salt solution able to prevent any deterioration in the brain because once it's deprived of oxygen, even for a few minutes, the brain can be very easily damaged.
IE: That firefighters trapped in burning house, deprived of oxygen for minutes that ended up in a coma and not reawakening for 10 years.

Dawn of the Dead isn't so far away...
And for those wondering why we would want to thaw someone from the past years in the future... just watch Futurama - hilarity all around for the people of the future!

PETA IS BEING BUSY KILLING THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS!
Before you complain about experimenting on animals, heck…at least PETA didn’t get their hands on the dogs.

At least these guys brought them back to life. PETA has been taking in animals and killing them instead of finding them homes. Think twice about everything people.

You mean you guys have never caught a frog, and put in the freezer? Thaw them and they are back to life. Quite cool.
Edit: I jusdt thought of something else. Will we finally have answer to the life long question: Is there life after death? I don't mean being brought back to life, but I mean religiously.
