Default Any hockey card Gurus???

http://www.checkoutmycards.com/Cards...+Jarome+Iginla

So i found this hockey card cleaning up today. I thought it was cool becuase it has Jarome wearing #24 on the back. I thought i would look it up on the internet but i can not find it. I found 2 VERY similar cards One is worth pennies and one is worth $25.

Does anyone know if this is worth anything??

hang on the pictures didn't load

One is just a common card the other is an insert. That would explain the difference in price.

Ohh okay.

My guess is that the $25 one is a limited card. Like a /250 or /1000 etc. I would guess this because of 'die-cut' style. The one you have is probably still an insert. I would guess it is worth $3-$5

Many sets of cards have what appears to be similar cards but with multiple levels of "collector value". Usually each collector value is upped by one more "feature" to the card, whether it is a hologram, foil, cut out cards, or even just a serial number on the back.

Thanks,
I found out that it is 1 of 250 so i think i"l take it in to Eastridge Hobbies or somewhere just in case. It will be just like Pawnstars when the customers find out they have fake civilwar memorabilia.

I can't figure out how to give the direct link to the card, but someone is selling that card for $8 on http://www.sportlots.com. Just do a search on Iginla, and on page two you will see 1997 Leaf International Universal Ice #14 Jarome Iginla.

Cool, now if I buy that one and burn it mine will be worth slightly more? THen I track down the other 248 and I might have a $50 card on my hands.

Dang it! I thought I found my retirement fund...

Beckett confirms $8 it is. I will trade it in for one dome beer.
