Since goalies are easy to figure out:
Goalie - Vokoun - 1W, 1 OTL, .971 SV, 0.96 GAA, 1st star, 2nd star, 2GP. Had a great bounce back week after being in the coach's doghouse. Faced 69 shots and only gave up 2 goals. Probably could have had 2 wins if the Kings could score in a shootout.
Forward - Bergeron - 2g, 2a, 4p, +4, in 4 games.
Defenseman - Vlasic - 1g, 2a, 3p, 4 games
Unsung - Khabibulin - 2W, .919 SV, 2.4 GAA, 1st star, 75 OV. Had to step in and play some great hockey, winning 2 key games. Faced 62 shots in 2 games.

Nashville had a busy week and went 4-1 through stretch. We relied on the play of a few key players to make that happen:
1. Alexei Ponikarovsky for unsung: with 3 goals and 5 assists really got rolling this week. Our usual nominee (Radek Dvorak) was injured and he stepped in the fill the void. Aside from his 8 points he was also named 2nd star twice and 3rd star once.
2. Ryan Whitney for defenceman: The blueline saw a few injuries this week and Whitney was solid. He played a lot of minutes, was +1 and contributed a goal and 4 assists as well.
3. Niklas Backsrom for goaltender: Backstrom played four games and was 3-1 this week. He had a GAA of 1.5 over these games and a save percentage of .945 through this stretch.
4. Ben Bishop for rookie: While he only played once, Ben was basically thrown to the wolves. The defenceman was depleted and we were not expected to win. He posted a save percentage of. 900 and got the win against a tough Washington team to cap off the week.

Pens nominees:
Player:
Patrick Kane 5gp 2goals 5 assists 7pts +1 2nd star - Really carried the offense when it needed a boost this week.
Defenseman:
Alex Edler 5gp 2g 1a 3pts +4 3rd star - played over 26mins a game and shut down the other teams top lines while contributing some scoring.
Goalie:
Carey Price 3W 1L 2.75gaa .905 save % 1 shutout, 1 1st star
Carried the team to wins with a shootout win, an overtime victory and a shutout in 4 starts.
Unsung:
Josh Gorges 5gp 0g 3a 3pts + 3
- led the PK and really shut the door when called upon to play a bigger role.
Rookie:
Jordan Eberle
5gp 2g 3a 5pts +6 1st star
Responded to a promotion into the top 6 to fill the Hossa injury gap with a big offense week while playing well defensively. He scored a short handed overtime game winner to lead the way to a big win over the Canes.

Sorry this is way late, but if you haven't decided yet, here are my nominations:
Rookie: Erik Karlsson - 3 GP, 1G, 3A, E +/-, added 6 SOG and 3 Hits. Continues to put up forward numbers as a Defenseman
Unsung: Steve Downie - 62 OV, 3GP, 2G, 1A, +3 and a 1st star. Not bad given the team lost all three games in this stretch.
That's all. Hopefully these count!

It worked out I guess because I'm super swamped and can't look at them until well after tonight's hockey game.
