Shocked this game was this close. Actually outshot the jackets 40-32...all without a center rated higher then 60 due to injuries...maybe this sim thing isn't so bad after all...

Miller does it again...he has been a monster and is now 6-1-1 since coming to Columbus. He has been facing a ton of shots per game which is concerning but he seems to enjoy stopping the puck. The majority of our games are going 3-2 and we'll take the points. Emery will have to get more starts and will have to step it up.

Mike Richards and Martin Erat remain red hot and both come away with 3 points on the night. Those two have found some excellent chemistry.

Stewart and Callahan haven't been in the lineup lately and it looks like Callahan will finally be available for the next game. Stewart is still about a week away but getting back two bodies up front will be huge for this club.

More like Harding has been phenomenal. My theory is that I let Harding win me a whole bunch of games, pulling Rinne's MO up as he backs up lots of wins, and Rinne turns Miller-esque by the end of the year. Whether that works out or not, Harding has earned the starter role and will keep it as long as he keeps playing like this.

Solid win against a conference rival. Ville Leino with the first star from the fourth line.

This does not. I repeat, does NOT, mean Rinne is available for lesser/older goalies in search of sim magic. We are happy to be patient with Pekka, thanks to Harding's great play.

Well Anderson gave up 5 goals and had a 800 save Pct but our offense was on fire. 3 Powerplay goals. Jeff Carter had 3g and 1a , Marchand had 2g and 1 a, and Frans Nielsen keeps up his torrid point pace with 3 assists.

Oh and another D injury... FML

Big win!

Some guys are getting close to coming off IR too. David Jones who was thought to be out for two weeks about 4 weeks ago should be the first player back. Weiss not far behind.

This teams offense has been sputtering all year...we get shutout on a weekly basis and putting up 21 shots is just horrible. I woudlnt be shocked if we see a few tinkering moves very soon in Pittsburgh.
