Icon42 FS: Ibanez AS-83 Artcore Hollow-body Guitar

Well CP, I made and impulse buy and bought a new guitar the other day. Unfortunately this means I have to sell my baby. I've had this guitar for a few years and am sad to say that I must part with it. It has served me very well and recommend its use to anyone.

Specs:
- 3-piece Maple/ Mahogany neck
- Flamed maple top, sides and back
- 22 frets
- chrome hardware
- bound rosewood fingerboard
- Violin Sunburst finish
- Bridge and neck humbucker pickups
- General wear-and-tear from playing it (including the classic buckle smudge on the back) but any imperfections are very minor and the guitar plays like new

This guitar has been described as a poor man's ES-335 many times over and it holds true. For a relatively inexpensive guitar it has a great sound and can cross with most types of music preference. I used it mainly for classic blues/hard rock (Zeppelin, Stones, SRV, etc...) and it served me very well. This comes with a fitted hardshell case. I am the first and only owner of the guitar.

$400
Price is FIRM

Why sell...

You can never have too many guitars...

Fair enough. Good luck with the sale.

I'm looking for another acoustic right now..otherwise I'd be interested.

I am saving up to get a real deal ES-335 that is about $3,000. But then again, with the quality and "craftsmanship" so good these days with Asian mass production, the "budget" versions are almost as good. The only noticeable difference is pretty much the pickups.
