PSN: Issues signing in today?

I have had issues signing into the Playstation network today. It keeps on telling me my connection has timed out.

My internet is fine, and the ethernet cable is plugged in properly.

Anyone else having issues?

according to psn eu on twitter PSN is down and they are restoring in approx 2 hours..this was 49 mins ago

Hey guys, just bumping this old thread as I need to create my new PSN account since the hack happened. I've tried to join a few times over the last while but it always says the site is under maintenance.

Actually I think you create the new user on your PS3 first, and then go to their site.

No, we all used our original ID's but had to reset our passwords upon first sign in after the shutdown.
