I started my own company about a year ago. One of the branches was the development and sale of a new line of wall decor. I am proud to say as of Saturday I have sold my first piece of art to somebody I am not connected to via friends or family.
Just wanted to share!

Very cool! I still remember how excited I got about my first commission (a dinky little black and white illustration in the local paper), and I know how satisfying it can be to have it out in the world.
Congrats!! Over the years I've sold a few of my photographs but the last one was to someone I didn't know but saw my stuff and liked it. It's a nice feeling.

I don't think CP is the place to brag about the black and white pictures you draw of dinks. Are you Seth from Superbad?
Congrats. I'm not one to tell people how to market their company but if you're going to post a CP Press Release you might want to have links to your site and picture of said artwork.
Agreed now you got me interested in what this art work looks like.
Don't be shy.

I'd like a catalog too . . . I love your artwork - simple and contemporary, the kind of stuff I go for.

Cheers for the feedback, I do appreciate it. It's been fun creating and now that pieces are starting to move it just adds that next level of excitement.
