weird random things that have happened to you
So one of my customers just walked into my office and asked me to come to his truck to see something. I went, and it was his pet timber wolf:
Pretty weird. What weird random things have happened to you guys lately?
P.S. Do you figure that's actually a timber wolf? It looked big, but I picture wolves being bigger.

Exactly
His coat looks exactly like a retriever, while his face looks like a wolf. I can only imagine how fata'd up its personality might be depending on which traits it got from which parent.

Went to play lunch hour pickup at my local arena. There were 8 guys in the room. I noticed one of them had a really nice hockey bag.
Played an hour of 4 on 4 with Jere Lehtinen.

My random thing that happened was when my wife and I got home one day and saw that we had a message on our home phone. It was some random lady letting us know some other random lady had died. Also went on to tell us a bunch of other random things. Kinda sad. I phoned her back a couple of times to try and let her know she had the wrong phone number, but all it ever did was ring and ring.

At lunch today, I was staring out the window whilst having a slice of pizza, and Gilbert Gottfried walked by.
Random enough?

Ok, pre TL;DR warning here, but this is a good thread to tell this story in.
It all starts during the swine flu epidemic. I am standing in line at Brentwood Mall to get my shot, and I notice this really weird aboriginal lady in the line. She had an abnormally large torso, long skinny legs, and long arms. Kind of a Sasquatch looking build. She also had those Jeffrey Dahmer / pedo glasses. She was pushing a shopping cart, had 2 kids, and a really messed up looking miniature husband with bad, bad teeth. What first caught my attention about her was her loud booming voice and laugh, but what ingrained her in my mind, wasn't just the giant disgusting spandex camel toe, but the fact she kept trying to discreetly scratch her ass crack, and then sniff her fingers. I was revolted. Worse yet, it was a zig zag line divided by a velvet rope, and our paths were approaching in an oncoming direction. I was preying she would not scratch her ass near me, as I was terrified of getting a waft of her pooticles in my nose, unfortunately, as she passed, I definitely smelled sweaty ass crack, and dry heaved. One would think that would be the last time you would see such a person... but sadly that would not be the case.
Fast forward, 5 months. I stopped at the home depot parking lot on Macleod trail by Chinook Centre to top up my washer fluid. As I stop my car, in a completely obscure random corner of the parking lot. Right across the front of my car, walks Sasquatch, poo-crack sniffer, aboriginal woman. I knew it was her as there was no mistaking this person for anyone else. She's was like Ernest Borgnine in that sense that she was uniquely, and distinctively unattractive. Not to be confused with anyone else. I just chuckled to myself, and though... hmmm that's weird.
Forward 5 months again. I ride my motorcycle to Peters Drive-In at 9 pm. There standing in the line next to me is poo sniffy, and family, and this time I am 100% positive, as her miniature husband is there with her. I was puzzled, and creeped out. How do I keep crossing paths with the revolting person? I just stood there and kinda stared at her, wondering why the hell we kept crossing paths.... She in turn was looking at me, probably wondering why the hell I was staring at her. I actually aborted my Milkshake purchase, got on my bike, and left. Her staring at me the whole time I was putting my helmet on, and zipping up my gloves.
That brings us to 2 weeks ago. I am doing my regular nightly ride around the Glenmore reservoir. As I am passing through North Glemore Park, who do you think steps out onto the path from behind a tree a nearly gets run over my me? Saquatch, poo sniffer lady, this time alone, and at dusk. I literally started pedaling as fast as I could, and as I looked back, she was staring at me with this hollow stare, like a killer in the rear view mirror in a horror flick.
I really want this lady to quit crossing my path, it is really freaking me out.
