Sens strike for a 3rd time

Ottawa-GM Walsh announced that he has made his 3rd deal of the day. This is one that everyone has been waiting for. The Sens have packaged Paul Byron, Mitch Wahl and Mathieu Carle. Those 3 farm hands are off to...you guessed it, Anaheim! In return the Sens get the Ducks first round pick, Darryl Boyce and Robbie Earl.

This deal more than anything helps clean up the AHL roster, but also adds another first round pick in what is going to be a very deep draft. Ravi gets his Flames prospects.

We did not want to move a 1st rd pick for these guys but knew that would be the price. It has been a great week in regards to bringing in 3 young guys that we hope will have a serious NHL impact in the near future.
