Default Granite Supplier/Install recommendations?

As title suggest; looking to get roughly 17 lin ft of kitchen granite supplied, templated & installed. The few threads on the subject are getting pretty dated, so I figured I would hit up the collective for input.

Anyone have any companies they've used and would recommend? I'm leery of just picking a name from the yellow pages since I'm hoping to get someone decently experienced.

Jade Stone. Depending on your choice of granite it may not be the cheapest quote you'll get, but their quotes include the template and installing price. The template process is by far the most accurate I've seen (I work in New Home Construction so I see a few different companies) and the installation is top notch. They have worked with some pretty delicate granite and quartz for us and consistently do an excellent job. And their warranty, if ever needed, is prompt.

They also offer more product options and edge options then most of the other places. I can PM you the contact name and number for the person I deal with there if you'd like.

Also wanted to add Granite Transformations. I know the owners in Northern Alberta (based in Edmonton) region very personally and they have done some amazing work. I don't know where you are located (but guessing calgary due to the YYC) and can get you in contact with those guys as well.

I can PM you the contact name and number if you would like more information.

Thanks guys, I'll probably check these guys all out (and a few more I got via PM), I assume the slab choices are pretty similar between shops, so I'll likely go with whoever gives me the best feeling that I'll get a quality job. I really wont mind paying a bit more for a shop that can do a really good job templating (kitchen has some oddities) and installing.

edit: anything I should know/look out for when picking an installer (and/or a slab?)
