Default Tupac Shakur on Religion

NSFW

This video really made me think about this stuff and how the churches and even the mosques I go to are really doing it wrong.

I really like the quote he gives at 2:40.

2Pac was a great mind. It's too bad he lived or portrayed a dysfunctional life.

However, it's too bad he can't be a rapper and still speak intelligently like KRS-One, Immortal Technique or Murs.

I was going to say the same thing. Tupac was brilliant, but his thug life choices really diminish him in my mind.

Having read much on Tupac, I honestly believe he had a good heart, but was surrounded and too easily influenced by the wrong people. He wanted to get married and move to Arizona to get his life on track once he was released from jail, but made the mistake of letting a sociopath bail him out on the condition that Tupac would record albums for Death Row.

Agreed, the man had a very good heart and actually wanted to change the world for the better.

He did seem to have a evil/good side and I honestly believe the real side of Tupac was the good side. I believe the fake side was a made up personality so he could sell records.

Listen and read some of the poems he wrote early on in his life. His voice was as soft as ever and his writing was fantastic. The rap game and the money and fame got to him and I really think that affected him for the worse. The guy was a very smart man as well.
