They don't make them like they used to, those old Briggs and Stratton would run until the the lawn mower rusted out ... Did anyone ever change the oil in one of those, ever... I don't think so.
I get home from work and the wife says "the mower just quit and I found this under it" she hands me a piece of metal, I look around hmm.. Then I see where it came from, the frickin connecting rod came right threw the block

It was 1 1/2 yrs old.
Old gas is often the culprit, I have to pull the jets out of my weed whacker and see if I can clean them up, it's only got 1 summer on it and it won't run POS.
