Default Resources for buying a used vehicle

Not necessarily in the market for a new(used) vehicle, but for some reason always find myself browsing for them on Kijiji or AutoTrader. Just like to keep an eye on values and re-sale values of particular models.

Is there anywhere else worth searching other than the previously mentioned sites?

True Delta is a good resource for finding out the real-world reliability of a lot of vehicles out there. You can also help contribute feedback about your own car.

I found my last new vehicle through a site where they do the negotiating for you, and find the vehicle also. For a fee of about $500 they do the shopping and tell where you can pick up the vehicle and the cost. I was very happy with it. I saved money. They only do new vehicles. The guy is a former car salesman. You can identify a distance you're willing to travel to get the vehicle. I can't remember the site but can find it if you're interested and send me a PM.

Are you looking for a place to buy them? Or just research prices, etc.
For research I found Edmunds.com to be pretty good. (keep in mind it's US based though)

Also, if you're looking for a specific car, joining a forum is great. Any car forum I've been to has a for sale section, and they're generally well taken care of, enthusiast's vehicles.

If you're looking to buy from a dealer in Alberta, be sure to check out and research the AMVIC website (http://www.amvic.org), so you're familiar with best practices, and with your rights and responsibilities as a buyer. Also after visiting a dealership you can look up the salesperson's name to see if he/she is in compliance with AMVIC and also if there have been any complaints lodged with the dealer and what they were.

Not a bad idea, but some of these guys that get married to a brand or a specific model are fanbois and have awful/biased advice, so take anything you read there with a grain of salt.
