This questionnaire is definitely worth 5 minutes

I wasn't as close to the Conservative position as I thought I was...

Its also good that you can filter it issue by issue...

I landed right smack in the centre of the Conservative circle. No surprise really although I am more socially conservative than I thought according to the questionnaire.

I landed pretty much exactly where I thought I'd be. Smack dab in the middle between the Liberals and Conservatives.

A little closer to lib than con, but only just. Pretty sure I know which questions pulled me to the liberal side. Farthest from the NDP (no surprise there). I took some pleasure in rating Duceppe a "0" in trustworthiness and appropriateness for PM.

I am pretty close to dead centre in all aspects... but close enough to be a conservative rather than a liberal.

Just what I already knew. I have strong opinions on everything, but I don't hold one viewpoint across the board.

According to the graph, I am pretty much right in between liberal and conservative, with very slight skew towards Liberal apparently, but I can't even see that difference on the graph.

Trended towards the top right (Economically conservative, socially liberal...I'm a walking cliche, aren't I?), with approximately equal distance between Liberal and Conservative.

EDIT - I'm a little concerned that I'm WAY Liberal in immigration though...

Me and my 2 friends watching the game did it.

As expected I was Socially and Fiscally Conservative, my 1 friend was almost dead on liberal Social wise and a little right of them economically and my other friend was green part on social issues and ndp on fiscal issues.

Damn CBC and their marketing on HNIC.

I was a little to the left of the Liberals but not enough to be considered NDP.

Too many of the questions lack sufficient details to give a good answer. Interesting and not surprisingly I was in the lower right quadrant.

Just for fun I answered Neither agree or disagree (or whichever form was valid) and no opinion for all of the follow-up rankings - You are closest to Liberal Party of Canada. Take that fwiw

I'm a Conservative, but I already knew that. Socially and fiscally conservative with clear views on Quebec, defense and immigration

Kind of a gimmicky questionnaire, if you cant figure out if you are socially and economically conservative i dont think you should be voting.

I really hope someone doesnt do that test and say "wow, it said im Liberal... ill go vote for the Liberals"

This is a joke. When voting for the candidates I didnt rate the Liberals higher than a 5, and that was when it asked whether or not I would EVER vote for them. And then It said I was closest to Liberal. HAHA

Closest to Conservative, Furthest from NDP. No surprises there.

It put me nearly in the centre between Liberal and Conservative, only slightly closer to the Conservative side. I think the only reason why I'm close to the middle of the two parties is I answered "neither agree or disagree" or "about the same as now" for numerous questions that I don't really care too much about.

I DO find fault with this kind of survey though, and I don't know why it's used. By definition "Somewhat Agree" means that you also "Somewhat disagree". One person could respond with a "somewhat agree", and another could respond "somewhat disagree" despite believing the exact same thing about an issue. I've seen that exact issue happen many times.
