When looking at the fire and ice forum, it sure puts into perspective how easy it can be to lose sight of the important things in life. Very grounding article, and a wonderful find Chummer. Thanks so much.

It's well worth reading his archived articles as well, the man is amazing.
I made a donation to his foundation after reading these.

Reminds me of a book I read a few years ago-"Tuesdays with Morrie" by Mitch Albloom. It sure puts into perspective any bitches I might have.
As TP says-

"Suck it up and get on with life (remember, no whining allowed!) and enjoy every day. What other option do any of us really have? "

I teared up at the news even though I expected to see it in the coming days or weeks. Glad he got one more Christmas with his family.

Loved this quote from the article below: “You know all those corny things we say about live each day and the glass is half full? People say it but they don’t believe it. For me, I say, ‘It’s your life, deal with it.’ It was the same in football, ‘Suck it up and play.’ What are you going to do? Quit?”
