I downloaded the demo, didn't play it for a while. Got drunk and played it once. Went back to play it again to get a better (sober) feel for it, and it said the demo was expired.
I want to give this game another shot. It definitely looks awesome.

My friend bought GT5 and this game and says not only that this game's entertainment value is waaaay better, but that the graphics are actually superior. I thought he must have been on crack but I'm waiting to see for myself.

I remember back in the day I bought the first Hot Pursuit (or whatever was the first one with cops on the PC) and it was fantastic. I love racing games that aren't always just about getting from point A to point B. Been looking forward to try this one for some time now.

Exactly. Most wanted was awesome because of the stages of pursuit. It would start with 1 or 2 regular police cars, then go to a few FBI dodge chargers with ramming bars, then to SUV's, to Helicopters, to exotic police cars... barricades, you name it. It was sick!
It's a lot more fun because it's unpredictable and you can play the same level infinite times because it changes every time.
GT5... yay lets do another 200 laps on this oval. Don't F up once or the last 4 hours were wasted!

Have you done this in GT5? I haven't but if it's anything like GT4 you can build up enough of a lead that you can fall asleep, crash into a wall, wake up and still be in first (which I have done). Or just make your driving avatar do it.
Anyways, someone get this for the 360 so I have someone on my Autolog!

This will be the first racing game I've purchased since...Diddy Kong Racing, I think. I loved the old PC version of Hot Pursuit.

So tempted to get this right now... Wish there was a better deal for it than full price.

Most wanted was one of the best $60 I ever spent. I would absolutely pay full price for this game.

Can you play this with a wheel? Now that I blew my load on a wheel/pedal/stand combo, I need to maximize it's potential with every game!

It should be shouldn't it? No reason EA would support NFS shift and carbon with wheel support and not hot pursuit.

Good to hear that it will probably work. If it's anything like Shift, it should be a great game. I actually just bought Shift on Amazon for 9 bucks....I know there's a new one coming out in March or whatever, but at that price, who I was I to pass that up.

Actually I don't think there is any wheel support in this game. Go check out the forums on GTPlanet.com. If I recall there was a big fuss from some people that EA didn't include wheel support.
Personally I don't think this game would be that great with a wheel because of the drifting and crazy driving. It's nice to have a racing game where you can just pick up a controller and go rather than have it be more involved like GT5 or Forza where you have to set up your wheel/stand, etc.
If you want to get the game Toys R Us is having a sale where each game is $5 off. Not as good as the deal a few weeks ago from Best Buy where this game + Assassin's Creed 2: Brotherhood were $100 but still better than full price.

Hm. you seem to be right... Does not support any wheels according to EA forums. I wonder if they'll be patching it. Lots of people are incredibly pissed off atm from what I'm reading.

Been playing it for the past week. I enjoy chasing the racers as opposed to being chased. Online racing is good too. The wait time is really short, and it's more fun going up against 7 other racers instead of going against all 7 AI.

What a load of crap. How is it supported in SHIFT, CARBON and the upcoming WORLD, but not HOT PURSUIT?

We will be considering official support for Logitech's Driving Force GT, G25 and G27 wheels at a later date.

If it matters the game is still quite fun with a controller. The variety of race types is a nice addition.

Great game, but the lack of splitscreen multiplayer is complete and utter BS.

Really? People still use that? That is not a feature I'd ever use!
I think split screen is hard to incorporate often because the graphics are maxed, and getting the PS3 to render twice as much is a challenge... but meh not an issue for myself.
