Where can I buy size 13-14 boots?

No... not for me. I am trying to find winter boots as part of a charity gift, and one of the items is a pair of boots, size 13.5. I don't even know if they are available in half sizes, so I may end up going a size up to 14 and providing a gift receipt, just in case.

I hit up the "regular" places: Wal-Mart, Payless, The Shoe Company, etc. and they all seem to top out at 12 with very sparse selections above that. It is becoming apparent that this is going to get tricky, so I am hereby tapping into the CP brain trust. Collectively we must have at least a few guys on here who have feet that are... well... gigantic. Stand up and be recognized because you know what they say about big feet. I'll obviously be doing some calling around, but I'd be very appreciative if anyone has some good leads.

Go to Mark's Work Wearhouse, the Chinook one, if possible. That location has the most stock, especially in boots and will often carry sizes up to 17. Winter boots usually do not come in half sizes, but the usual rule is to err on the low side, so size 13 in this case. This is because the insulating felt packs will pack down over time making the boot have more room. That, and winter boots are often made bigger anyway. If you can't find the right size there, ask them to search their inventory for what other stores might, and they will either call the store and have them sent to that store, or have them put on hold for you and you can go pick them up at the other store.

Warning though, it won't be as cheap as Wal-Mart, et al.

I have the same issues. I am a size 13. After size 12 half sizes can be near impossible to find unless you buy higher end stuff. Go to a place like shoe warehouse. They have a big size section, and sometimes you can find some good stuff in there.

The Shoe Company might have some. I wear size 13 and get my shoes and boots there. I think they carry up to size 15, but the selection is limited.

I will check at work on Monday. Generally size 13-14 is the highest we carry but we might have something if somebody with abnormally large feet hasn't already claimed the one 13 or 14 that came in. If I find any I'll send you a PM Monday night.

Thanks everyone for the help. I swung past Canadian Tire last night on my way out and they've got up to 13. I'll give the Chinook Mark's a shot as well. Shoe Warehouse checked their stock in all the stores and are all out of 13 and up in winter boots (although they sometimes do carry them).
