Spinal Tap icon Christopher Guest has disappointed fans by refusing to make any more "mockumentary" movies - because he no longer finds them funny.

"Eugene (Levy, his friend and collaborator) and I talked about different possibilities. One was a Western. I have to say I've never seen any reality TV, but yes, a dog-show reality program is not that far from Best In Show.

Damn, that is bad news. I heard a rumour a month ago that they were working on a mockumentry about award shows like the Oscars, guess that is over.

For those that haven't seen This is Spinal Tap, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show, or A Mighty Wind.. go rent them now. Some of the funniest stuff you will ever watch in your life.

As good as Spinal Tap is, Best in Show might just be the best of the bunch.

lol, that guy is one of the funniest characters of the movies, all 3.

Also a very hilarious scene in A Mighty Wind that was deleted (on the DVD) all the bands are doing a press conference and Eugene Levy's character starts talking about Canadian rap music.. I forget the line exactly, something about "rapping about politness, converatism"
