Oilers win their 3rd in the last 4 games 3-2 over the Preds with Stephen Weiss and the 2nd line playing the hero's tonite.

Interesting AHL note...Falcons played the WolfPack and the first period had 0 shots and I outshot them 2-1 in the 2nd period, for a 2-1 shot total after 2 periods. Now THAT is defence!!!

Andrew Raycroft gets his first start of the season for the Sharks and gets lit up, however it's hard to fault him for that as the team in front of him was playing a fully physical game and trying to inflict season ending injuries on the hated Kings with no regard whatsoever for playing the puck.

Incredibly, the Sharks still managed to score 3 goals, although the first line was -4 on the game. I guess that's what happens when you play 5 physical on the sliders. Unfortunately, no injuries on the night and that's a bigger letdown than the scoreboard.

Got blown out by the Devils. I've had trouble with the Devils this year. Also made the mistake of keeping Thomas in there with 98 CD, should've gone back to Jonas.

BJ Crombeen at least beat up Shane Hnidy in a losing effort. Otherwise we just got outplayed and lost to a bad team!

The Caps win their 3rd straight to put themselves back onto Solid Playoff footing.

Mike Ribiero led the way with a goal in the 1st period, and thent he Shoot-out winner.

Chris Mason stopped 37/38 shots in the win.

Kipper steps back in and we get a key shootout win. Team has won 4 of 5 now, good to finally be winning some games.

Weird game! The Canucks are happy to get the win, but have a crappy penalty kill in this one and allow Mr. Underwood to score a hat trick. Then a bunch of out players get beat up. Changes are coming on the PK, that's for sure. Brutal showing.

shootout win for the Sabres in a rivalry game over the Leafs, Rask rebounded with a strong effort and Elias and Steen tallied in the shootout. In regulation time it was a key (rare) goal by the 4th line that helped keep the Sabres in the game.

Although we were up against a team we were trying to catch we will take the loser road point being that we played our back-up and that we were on the 2nd game of a back to back.

Thrashers beat the Rangers 4-2 for their 6th straight win. Everyone seems to be contributing. Datsyuk gets a goal and now has at least 1 point in every game this season (22 games)! Cleary gets 2 goals and the 2nd line is on fire. Khabibulin continues to play great in goal as well.

Good game all around by the Bolts holding the MIGHTY Ducks to 1 goal. Tough luck in the shoot out though where Anaheim's talent came to the forefront.

Mike Fisher scored all 3 goals for the Flames today but it wasn't enough as we lose in the shootout. The injuries didn't stay away for long (1 game), Kronwall is out a month now.
