Default WTF: Yogi Bear Alternate Ending?

Posting this cause: a) will probably be taken down by YouTube soon, so watch it as soon as you can, b) it's royally messed up, c) Locke will love it.

Not quite NSFW, but still I wouldn't watch it with children around.

Since when is Yogi Bear relevant?

Are movie studios running out of ideas?

Why the hell does a cartoon need to be relevant?

I like how apparently people think it's a real alternate ending despite having the word Parody in the title, and starting with this message: This is an independently made parody with no association to Warner Brothers or the producers and actors of the 2010 "Yogi Bear" film.

Saw the parody the first time, missed the disclaimer.

I was sort of wondering the same thing. Very well done parody.

Yogi Bear is a 3rd rate cartoon character, do I date rate Alvin and the Chipmunks higher?

BURBANK, CA—Executives at Warner Bros. Entertainment, Inc. announced today that the upcoming 3-D live-action/CGI film Yogi Bear will introduce a whole new generation to a dull, culturally irrelevant cartoon character. "Finally, today's children will have the chance to be completely uninspired by the same inane and repetitive gags that failed to capture their parents' imagination,

I have absolutely no idea why anyone would want to bring Yogi Bear to life. It’s not like this Hana Barbera series (which is now owned by Warner Bros.) is going to make an amazing comeback. Give it up already! Those days are long gone… the stupid cartoon doesn’t even come on anymore. I’m thinking there must’ve been a shortage in Christmas films and some idiot thought about releasing Yogi Bear.

The Onion is a parody site so quoting it as fact is pretty funny. Your second article comes from a child hating movie reviewer so the author's opinion of an animated movie isn't really important.

Also, Alvin and the Chipmunks made over $350 million dollars worldwide. The sequel only made $440 million. Both of these numbers don't take into account merchandise and DVD sales. Just because they made money doesn't mean they're good though. It does mean that studios will continue to remake old cartoons into 3D animated features until they stop making money. Making money is always relevant for movie studios.

I feel the same way about the upcoming Thor movie. I know the goal is to be able to set up an Avengers movie in the future by telling the backstory to each superhero, but I don't think Thor is interesting enough to carry a whole movie by himself.

Thor rocks, Norse mythology mixed with Comics. Golden!
