"The Mighty Ducks return! Charlie is an adult; but he isn't exactly grown up. When he gets into trouble with the law, he's forced to do community service, coaching a children's hockey team. Naturally, he calls on old friend Gordon Bombay (Estevez) for help."

This can't be serious can it? How can anyone possibly think this is a good idea? The first one was cute, albeit stupid, but the other two were just putrid. This is why I hate Hollywood.

Wow, that sounds like the exact same plot as Mighty Ducks 1!
Wouldn't it be cool if the NHL drew off the popularity of this movie? They could introduce a new expansion team named after the movie. The Mighty Emilio Estevez's of New Orleans... that's guaranteed sucess!!!

It's not happening. I think this was supposed to be a Disney movie, and with Disney selling the team, it won't be profitable in the least, especially if it was a straight-to-Blockbuster movie or something.
Would have been funny to see though.

And this movie will probably hit the shelves after the Ducks are renamed Anaheim Oranges?

Correction: That would be the Los Angeles Oranges of Anaheim.

I'd love to see what would happen in a real NHL playoff game if a team employed the flying V.

According to the link, the ducks were going directly to the Olympics. The flying V may just work on the international ice surface.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I think the best thing about all of those movies is the implication that the American kids could beat Canadian kids, and that Gretzky would visit them over the Canadians.
Oh... and the whole Ice-Land thing. Atleast make it Russia or something.

Wow could they know any less about hockey? An amateur team of misfits with a short bench that becomes team USA without any NHL representation goes to the Olympics and plays a team wearing all black (because they're evil) that I've never heard of?

I thought The Mighty Ducks looked stupid when it first came out and never saw it or do I want to. I can remember then that sequel came out with a kid wearing a neon splattered jersey from Iceland. What the? Is that so the film doesn't insult real hockey countries like Canada and Russia so Canadian kids and Russian children can still enjoy the movie as America wins it all? Now I can't believe that there about to make a fourth! That's so sad.

If you look at the comnets for the MD4 on their message board they say it is scrapped and imdb.com hasn't updated that yet. I agree that with the Disney selling the Mighty Ducks that another sequel would not be a great idea!
