I'd shop at the FCUK store. There's one in Scottsdale.

Check out Arizona Mills outlet mall. I haven't been there in a few years, but they might have some of the stores you are looking for.

I went to Target and bought a shirt and then spent the rest of my time there golfing.

Funny timing. I was looking at malls in Phoenix yesterday. Doesn't look like there's much around the airport at all.

This. I was there last summer, got some unblieveable deals on dress clothes there, brand name stuff too (Kenneth Cole, Perry Ellis). I'll never buy dress clothes in Canada again.

How close to the airport are you looking for?
Arizona Mills is no more that a 10-15 minute drive from the Airport and its the biggest outlet mall in Arizona.

I just got back from Phoenix for Thanksgiving and I would agree. Anthem is absolutely the best shopping in the city. It's a big outlet mall and there are plenty of stores to choose from and the best variety of sizes. In fact, I go to the Ralph Lauren shop there every year just to buy enough underwear (ha!) for my two boys and my husband because they still carry woven boxers! If you keep going to Cave Creek, it's a small community of shops just like Sedona. This past weekend I bought some beautiful silver jewelry for less than half off because there were tiny stores trying to get rid of inventory, and there were some serious good buys! If you're staying around Sun City or Sun City Grand, Arrowhead Mall is okay, but it's overpriced and you can get the same things pretty much anywhere in the country. Have fun!

While I can't recommend any of the sissy brands you mentioned ;-), there are some very good choices for picking up great clothes very inexpensively in the Phoenix area.
Nordstrom's Last Call is in Phoenix - Imagine a Value Village filled with Nordstrom's stock. All of their returns, altered or damaged stock from across the chain comes here. It is very hit or miss but you can get some amazing deals. I picked up a Loro Piana sport coat for $20 (NWT), Allen Edmonds Shoes $50 (lightly used), and a dozen brand name dress shirts for under $10 each (NWT).
Nordstrom's Rack - There are a couple locations in the Phoenix area. I have not shopped these, but had decent luck at locations in Seattle. If Last Call was a like a Value Village, Rack's are more of an upscale Winners.
Dillard's Clearance Center (Fiesta Mall, Mesa) - This was my best find of the trip, and better than any Rack i have visited. WHen I was there, nearly all of the menswear was on sale for 50% off of the lowest ticketed prices (ticketed prices were usually already 50 - 70% off of MSRP). I think i spent $130US there and picked up items that would've retailed for over $1,500 here in Calgary. The shelves and racks were absolutely bulging with clothing including staple styles and common sizes (40R - 44R). My finds included several pair RLBL pants, Aigle Jacket and two wool rugby's, plus several ties and pocket squares. Best of all, this was real product rather than the irregulars or 'special-line' stuff that is clogging the outlet malls, Nordstrom Racks, Winners, etc.

Yes! It's still there, although we did not eat/drink there. Neat place, great history.

The people we went with swore by Last Call, but I was overwhelmed the second we walked in the door. It's absolute chaos in there, its like Boxing Day at West Edmonton Mall jammed into one store. Definitely some great deals but you really need to search/work to find them. The people who told us about it are two shopaholic girls, maybe its more suited for people like that. For a laid back guy just looking for a deal and avoiding the crowd, I'd avoid this place, it was like being in a war zone. (I did snag a nice sportcoat there though)
Nordstrom's Rack was cool though, I'd definitely recommend that place. It makes me sick how much more expensive stuff is up here. Just from top to bottom.

You won't find any boss, canali, prada or similar type suits in CC, but if you do go there, you should golf at the Rancho Manana

On a complete side note, be sure to get some Mexican food when you're down there. Can't remember the name of the place we went to but I hear its all good down there, just ask around what places are good I guess. Best Mexican food I've ever had by a mile, and I've been to Mexico twice.
