Default 98 Mercedes ML320 $5000

Hello gentle CP'ers. Are you tired of being "Mr Joe Pinto", do you want to be like your favorite celebrities:

Emily Rossum???

That guy from Show Girls

Wouldnt you like to drive the car that The Lost World: Jurassic Park, made famous?

I promise while driving this vehicle this will not happen to you

If any of this appeals to you then your in luck!

I have a 1998 ML 320 available for the small price of $5000 (firm). Own a vehicle that has travled 72% of the distance from here to the moon...meaning this car has done 278,000 KM.

I know what your thinking, who drives that much in just 12 years.

Now comes the best part, this vehicle is take as is. Are you good with cars? know a friend whos a motor head? Perhaps you are a mechanic. Then this car is your dream. Imagine fixing up your very own Benz. Fix it for cheap, or take it to Mercedes Benz Calgary and fix it for their reasonable price....... This car is German in name, but American in build. So by that I mean, its no harder to work on than a Chevy.

Basically the front suspension and rear suspension need a full overhall. There may be other worn out components, but the car will need an inspection to confirm this.

The engine, dispite the KM is actually really good. These engines are made to last half a million KM. This car has never failed to start, even in the harsh winter (and thats with out ever being plugged in). Its never broken down. It runs great. This car handles amazing in the winter as well. Car comes with Toyo Proxies that havent been used much. New battery as well.

The ride (when suspension is good) is excellent. Vehicle has all the usual things you would expect: All wheel drive, AC, power windows, seats, steering, sun roof, locks, full leather interior, old school rear 6 changer, cruise control, great towing ability, rear seats fold flat, spare tire.

This SUV is great if you want a luxury vehicle or if you want a work vehicle (lots of room in the back, even more when seats are down).

RIMS SOLD****

So dont be shy, gimme a call on my cell 403-714-1860. Come on down to Airdrie and i'll accompany you on a test drive. I'll give you the grand Airdrie tour.

Still not convinced? Here are some testimonials that have nothing to do wih me, this car or cars in general:

"My Razors came today and wow it's amazing. This is easily the best made razor I own. I even got a great shave out of it. Thanks for processing this and getting it sent out with such care!" -Ryan from Castro Valley, California

"Made the best coffee ever. No other coffee pot I had ever made good coffee. The first thing I liked was the looks but after I used it, like I said, it made the best coffee ever."
B.B., VT

"Just feel compelled to tell you how much I like the PaperPro one finger stapler. It's the best stapler I've ever used - most power for least effort and it does a secure job of stapling. Have one in each of our offices... Don't stop making them."

"I purchased the Fibro-Pedic and the S-Cape adjustable bed and I absolutely love it! Now I am comfortable when I sit up to watch TV, but I feel no pressure points on my body when I lay down to sleep. I now recommend this bed and mattress to all of my family and friends!"

a grand???? not even close. Any minute lube will do it for what ever the cost of oil is. I think this takes 7 containers. Total cost plus filters comes out to around $150 if i remember correct.

We do our own oil changes when ever we have the time, so a filter from Mercedes is about $20, then just look for the best deals on synthetic oil at Canadian Tire.

!?!?!?! There's no car in the world that costs $1000 for an oil change. The most expensive filter I've ever used is $40. After the filter, oil is oil. Unless the car uses 125 litres, it's not going to cost a grand....

I want to buy this just based on the coffee pot review at the end of the ad...

I'm sure no one cares but that was built about 20 mins from me. I took a tour of the plant a couple of weeks ago and it was great experience.

I think he was implying more about the cost of labour from the actual MB dealership, not the cost of the parts its self.

One of the greatest ads I've ever read.

On a side note what kind of rims are those and are you willing to sell them seperately?

I can't imagine book value for labour is more than 1.5 hours. Average European dealers charge $140/hour. So parts and labour at most should run $300 if taking it into the Benzeo dealer.

- - - Edit - - -
Didn't see Zunie listed labour rates in his last post. Makes it even cheaper

Apparently uou didn't read the link.....(essentially an oil and filter change and a fluids check cost $1,700.00)

And when I change my oil they don't just change my oil, but do a lot of checks and it still costs me about $55.

Yes, I read the link quite thoroughly. It said 5k service. An 'owners' interpretation of what a dealership is 'essentially doing' may be very different than what they actually do. If in fact the person posting to wikianswers even owns said Ferrari.

Not that it has anything to do with this thread, but out of sheer curiosity I emailed the Ferrari/Maserati dealer in Calgary and got a price quote.

Hi --------,

We charge 1.5 hours labor for an oil service on a F430 which equals $225.00. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,

Angelo

Hi,

I was wondering what your shop rate for an oil change on a 2007 F430 is.

Thanks,
-------
Regardless, Zunie posted the shop rate for his particular dealership, and it's not outrageous for oil changes on the MB.
