Big win for the Sabres, some line reshuffling paid off, especially to Alex Steen who responded with some first unit PP time and picked up 4 points. Lucic netted his first 2 goals of the season, and several players who were off to dreadful starts have started warming up. Sabres believe it or not still anxiously awaiting the return of Matt Walker, who is a stabilizing player on our 3rd pairing and is nearly ready to return.

Sabres are on a 4 game winning streak and holding down top spot in their divison, although their over all hold on a playoff spot remains tenuous

Thrashers get a 3-2 win over the Devils. Todd White leads the way with 2 goals. 2 days off for the Thrashers which is very much needed to rest up some guys.

2nd straight loss to the Ducks in a horrible game all around for the CPHL Sharks.

Couldn't capitalize on 5 powerplay chances, but got scored on three times while shorthanded. Also got lit up by ex-Shark Toothy Heatley who got three points.

Scott Hartnell continues to be good (?), notching a goal and an assist bringing his point total to 5 in three games for us.

The lone bright spot of the day came during the Baby Sharks game:

Trevor Lewis beats up Dan Fritsche at 12:33 of 3rd period

Jackets win. The Blues are overrated!
3 Stars

1 - Daniel Sedin (CBJ)
2 - Jiri Hudler (CBJ)
3 - Jaroslav Halak (CBJ)

Power Play

Columbus Blue Jackets - 0 on 7 Attempt(s) - 0.00%
St. Louis Blues - 0 on 0 Attempt(s) - 0.00%

This game could have been a LOT worse for the Blues if my team would have converted on the PP. The leagues best PP stinks now with all these top line guys.

Wow glad for the win but another game where the officials prefer the opposition, I have no idea how to get more powerplays.

Well the Preds edged the Bolts 2-1. I was hoping Brad Richards would have a mark on the scoresheet, but we'll take the win, shuffle the deck and move along.

Wow I'm at a loss for words. Wings lose another game and are in a fierce battle for last place.

Price is real bad in this one and the new players are not clicking at all. Look for some changes in Pittsburgh.

Rochester has definitely seen some benefit from the Halak trade. Already doubled the amount of wins on the farm team in the two games since. (was 2-8, now 4-8).

First loser point this year for the Islanders. Oh well, at least it was against the powerhouse Kings. Although the Kings still have a tough time drawing penalties they pulled off the OT win on the road. The refs weren't falling for any antics they drew up in practice. Good game

Big win against the Sharks again. Heater with 3 points, Iggy with 3 points and Kipper plays strong to help the Ducks battle back into contention.

Flyers with a good win , did score a shortie but otherwise the specials teams struggled, need to find a fix fo that.
