Jussi Jokinen to Rangers, Stars Acquire Saku Koivu

When I got up this morning I put a pot of coffee on and went to the computer and went to work on deals. We're 2-10-1 and I'm not going to put up with any more of this horse&*%$ from my players.

I needed a center since messing up on the Brad Richards deal, not bringing in a replacement directly in that deal. I thought Jussi Jokinen was the better asset to acquire from the Leafs at the time. Maybe I should have traded for Tim Connolly.

I know Koivu is way older and this is normally not the kind of deal I do, but he did sign for 2 years in Anaheim, and is under contract in the CPHL for the same period of time. I think my problems at center are directly related to not having a big time assist guy at the position. I better be correct

One of your biggest problems is making players untouchable who are doing crap for you in the sim.

Rangers are basically looking to get younger. When the Stars GM called, it only took a couple of minutes to make this deal.

Jussi Jokinen is a skilled Winger which allowed the Rangers to move Jason Arnott back to his natural postion.

Other factor, I basically like to trade....
