He'll be out in 2 years.
Its disgusting.
Personally Canada should just gather up his whole family and him and put them on a plane to Afghanistan. These people are taking advantage of a country that they clearly hate, there are better people out there that deserve citizenship.

I don't get it.
Unless it's something to do with "Welcome Back, Carter"? In which case, I'm too young.

Oh it's Kotter? Not Carter? I thought I was hearing it with a Boston accent.
Forgive me, I never saw the show. I was born in 83.

From what the article indicates the only thing this has to do with the Canadian justice system is that he might be serving some time here. Its Obamamerica that has worked out this sentence (not that the Canadian justice system is a joke, but I dont think they are to be blamed for this one).
I really hope this is a joke. The guy deserves to rot in Guantanamo.

With our justice system, I can't wait to see how much taxpayers will have to shell out once he comes back and successfully sues the Canadian government...

Thanks HOZ.
Khadr is Canadian born. Pretty sure it doesn't apply to him.

The actor who played Kotter was offered to do a Viagra commercial, where he looks down, and says "Welcome back".

Yes, you are so right.
Sorry for wanting to kick the puke out for choosing his "other" citizenship over his Canadian one.
My bad.

It seems tempting but I am not sold on the idea.
I guess my thought is that there shouldnt be two types of Canadian citizens. Being equal should stand for every Canadian.
I would need more info if I was to change my mind on this.
