Press Conference from Montreal part 2
Being new to this league I thought I should introduce myself and give a very rough outline of my plans for the season. I do have a little sim league experience as I am one of the GM’s of the FFHL, a league that was actually a spin-off of the CPHL. I am hoping that my experience there will help me with learning curve for this league.
Taking over one of the top teams in this league will be an interesting challenge. I will want to put my own stamp on this team but at the same time I will have to be careful to not dismantle the work that Curtis has put into this team. For the first week or so I will be making little to no changes at all, I just want to play around with some line combos and strategies to see what works with this team. Once I do get a feel for this team my main goal will be adding a little more defensive depth.
I will be posting my trade block once I do get a feel for this team. As with my other league even if don’t have someone on the block I will always listen to offers on anyone (except for Kyle Clifford, when I saw I had myself as my own prospect I knew that this team was meant for me)If you want to send me offers on players right now feel free to do so but I will not be making any moves right away, I don't think I am actually allowed to trade right now anyways.
I will try to be on MSN as much as I can be but if I am not on PM and I will get back to you as soon as I can. I look forward to continuing this success that Curtis has had with this team and hope not to mess up his vision for the team too much.
