Oil win 3rd in a row and do it on the back of backup goalie Curtis Sanford. Marty B was getting tired so its nice to know that Curtis can get the job done.
2 wins over two of top divisional teams brings us up the standings!

Joe T starting to heat up, gets 2 points and a fight today! The Oil outshot the Yotes 9-0 in OT and Overtime winner is scored by Tomas Holmstrom.

Not a very good game for the Sharks. Although we still managed to hold on for a point, we blew a 2-0 lead and took 8 penalties. Luckily, the Blues were not able to capitalize on any of them.

Old Man Kozlov's weak and brittle body finally gave out and he will be sidelined for a month with a Strained Left Elbow. Marcel Goc also suffered an injury, but will only be Day to Day with a mysterious right knee injury.

Forget blowing a 2-0 lead...you blew a 2-0 lead with only 2:32 left in the game

Blues work thier tails off to come back against a talented Sharks team. Chris Drury leads the way with the tying goal and the GWG, even after having his ass handed to him by Seabrook.

Kris Versteeg continues his great play. With the 2 assists in this game, he takes over the lead in the CPHL scoring race

3 point nights for both McDonald and Dumont with another solid effort from Lundqvist gets the Islanders their 5th win of the season.

Although it is still very early in the season it has been a pleasant surprise that the Islanders are tied for 1st place while the Sound Tigers are in 1st place overall.
