HF has a new thing where they give play money credit to members and then they can bet on games, I actually think that is pretty cool and was wondering if we could get something like this going on CP. Thoughts?
That might be interesting. It looks like it's a free addon so shouldn't be difficult to implement, though someone would have to setup the events and enter the results.

My only concern is that for uh...those of us who enjoy browsing the site at work (), that CP might get blocked for being a "gambling" site. Otherwise it sounds awesome!

I can't see that happening as it is an app that deals in fun, not real money.
It is just fun betting for what is called virtual cash and bragging rights.
It's been around for a few years. I wonder if you could have a check box on the profile to turn it off, so as to not see any gambling related content? Maybe that could help get around the gambling language. It is called VBookie over there.
Fun stuff, but I'm not sure it'd be worth it if it'd cause the larger headache of having people being blocked from visiting CalgaryPuck at work because of gambling stuff.
