Custom Jewlery/ring places?

Anyone got any advice on where to go for custom jewlery to be made?

Ive got a diamond already for an engagment ring but need a ring made, its a simple cathedral design solitare made of white gold.

Ive been to a place called the Karat Patch and they were really good, but just looking to shop around and see my options.

We went to the Goldsmith's in Kensington and were impressed. The lady there is a bit scatter brained but she makes amazing designs.

Had my wife's engagement ring custom made at Jewels by Maxime's. I drew out the design for them and they created the ring to my specs. The service was excellent and they did a very nice job.

After-sale service is excellent as well. My wife had some concerns about her diamond coming loose (it's tension set) and they were very accommodating, even adding more gold to the ring at no extra cost to us to secure it. They offer lifetime service on the ring as well & free cleaning anytime we want it. They even clean her wedding band for her for free, even though it didn't come from there. Really I have nothing but good things to say about them.

They have a store in Chinook Centre and one in Market Mall as well.

I had my wife's done at Eternity Creations in Dahlhousie Station. Was pretty quick, and did a nice job.

You designed a ring yourself? Impressive. Pretty sure mine would turn out to be the The Homer of rings if I tried.

But for real though, i've used Imperial Jewlers in the NE for a few things and liked his work. I've also sent a few people there as well whom are very happy. his name is paul.

We had our wedding bands designed by Maralago. Byron is really good and specializes in the type of custom work you want. I'm not clear if he's now in Kelowna or not but there is a Calgary number and you can email byron@maralago.ca.

Thanks guys, not looking for ANYTHING difficult, its just a simple Solitare diamond with a simple shape, just didnt really find any rings i liked out there.

Anyone got any stuff in the South? i live outside cgy and driving up the the NE is a LONG way.
