FS: 1992 Toyota Aristo - Twin Turbo Luxury Power
Hi everyone,
Listing this for a good buddy who's not a member of the forum, but he's got a nice car for sale so I thought if CP was interested, I'd put it up for him. You can contact him through his Kijiji ad:
Highlights
- Roughly 300HP 3.0L Twin Turbo 2JZ-GTE engine , the same engine that also comes in the vaunted Supra Twin Turbo
- power everything (even power telescoping on the steering!)
- Did I mention over 300HP from a factory twin turbo luxo sport sedan?
If you're interested the ad is here, it's the least expensive Aristo on Kijiji, so I doubt it'll last: http://calgary.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehi...dIdZ281035773#

Too bad the steering wheel is on the wrong side.
In my opinion the only right hand drive cars they should allow on our roads should be collector vehicles, not daily drivers.
How do you make a safe left hand turn at a busy intersection with these things? Hire a co-pilot?

My friend had one for a few months but sold it. Turning left is just too much of a PITA for it to be worth it. But some people like it...

I drove my friends once after dropping him off at the airport and I must say it was a challenge. It was a manual transmission so doing the shifting with my left hand was very odd, left turns were tough and I always found myself drifting towards the shoulder. With that said, I've driven with him and he seems to have no issues, probably something you just need to get used to.
