Default Sharks have named their Captains.

San Jose has named Joe Thornton as their captain. Assistant captains will be Dany Heatley and Joe Corvo, looking forward to a great season.

Opening day lines will be

Heatley-Thornton-Gaborik
Boyes-Peverley-Bourque
Tootoo-Goc-Clarkson
Kozlov-Boyd-Kostitsyn

Pitkanen-Corvo
Hainsey-Morris
Oduya-Ranger

Howard
Ersberg

I wish I was playing against you! Man it would be easy to score with no defense!

Don't need D against your team

Anyone remember when San Jose was the laughing stock of the league? Impossible to find an adiquate GM to run the team? The handing over of elite players to make sure the team could fix things?

Great looking team, all things considered!

Yeah... good looking forward core.

D is not as bad as some are making it out to be. Hainsey and Morris are good in the SIM.

Basically the year is dependent on how well Howard/Ersberg plays.

Playoff team for me in the west.

like hesla said the question mark is in net. howard got a real good rating but can he be consistent enough in his first year in the league and carry you to a playoff spot? i think he can. you're good team elsewhere and should overcome ok goaltending to grab one of last 2 western playoff spots.
