Cell phone question for techies?

Just wondering if anyone has heard if the new
iPhone (5?) will have AWS? I don't even know what AWS means or of its hard to put into the new iPhone, I just know it needs it to use on Wind mobile's network. It pains me to be paying $65+ with Bell when I could get a cheaper better package on Wind.

I would really like to avoid turning it into an iPhone vs Android debate, because I know Wind has a bunch of Android phones currently available. I feel like I have to stick with the iPhone due to the fact I have an iMac, 2 iPhones, iPad and appletv currently in my household and like having everything run together seamlessly. Also, I don't mind paying for movies (also don't really know how to use torrents) so I really like using iTunes.

Anybody smarter than I, have any inside info of the possibility of Wind getting the next iPhone?

But the answer is 'probably'.

Apple hasn't and won't release any details until Sept 12(?) about the new phone, so nothing is 100% certain yet. T-Mobile seems to think it will support the AWS 1700Mhz band though.

i'd say probably not...t-mobile and at&t (i think) did a spectrum exchange, not to mention all the rumors on AWS and iphone 5 are months old. i haven't see anything recent. have you done any research into android fitting in with those devices? i mean $20+ per month savings is nothing to sneeze at (for me anyways)
