Flames Calgary Flames Fatheads on sale (Kipper, Iggy - 50% off)

I'm pretty sure that these have been on sale for about a month now. While still $50 each, that's far better than the regular price of $100.

I put the Kiprusoff up in my boy's room last year, and it looks fantastic. I highly recommend for anyone looking to change the look/feel of a room with minimal effort.

I didn't know what a fathead was. I thought this thread was about Todd Burtuzzi.

Just a word of caution -- Fathead ships via UPS Ground, which means you'll also be on the hook for brokerage fees. So expect to pay another $30-35 (plus shipping) on top of the sale price.

I admit, they are pretty cool though

That's too bad; I wish they used USPS. I live close to the border; maybe I'll just go pick one up and bypass the brokerage. I've always thought Fatheads were neat but just overpriced. Just have to decide which one to get...

you might be able to email them and ask if they will ship USPS to Canada. Some vendors will accommodate you if you ask.

Are they permantly fixed to the wall or can they be moved or repositioned.

Also how difficult is it to make them wrinkle free and straight.

In theory they can be taken off and repositioned. I haven't tried yet. You just have to be careful not to put them on to freshly painted walls (wait 30 days for normal paint to cure).

It takes 2 people to put them on the wall. The problem isn't so much in the wrinkling, so much as trying to make sure you don't let the sticky side come into contact with itself. I tried by myself at first, and after using a couple dozen four letter "f" words, finally called the wife in to help out.
