Default Bluetooth Handsfree Speakerphone Advice

I'm in the market to buy a Handsfree Speakerphone for the car and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them?

My sister has a Blueant S4 and she likes it, but before I commit I thought I would look for some opinions.

Thank you.

I've got that exact one and I quite like it.
Nothing to compare it to though.

Thanks for the input. Seems these things just aren't that popular or BlueAnt makes a good product because it's the only one I can even find that has some sort of review on it. Besides some that are out of my price range of course.

I just bought a Blueant S4 for my Dad after reviewing a number of different devices. It's particularly good in concert with an Android based device apparently, and there are rumours about new apps for the iPhone 4 making it more compatible. You should be able to pick this up for about $80.

I also looked at the Jabra Freeway as a hands free option, but read too many reviews from people disappointed with its performance (including a Youtube review where it repeatedly failed to recognize what the guy was saying).

If you're not worried about hands free (as in no buttons to push), your options open up significantly and the price drops too. The most tried and true of the bunch appears to be the Motorola Motorokr, which is basic but very reliable according to most reviews. The Jabra Cruiser 2 also seems to do pretty well.

Have a look here, and if you're considering hands free, check out youtube to see the things in action before you decide.

I had the Blue Ant for about four months - bought it based on the awesome reviews, but it all of a sudden stopped working for me. It would forget my phone and I'd have to repair every day or two, which was really annoying.

I now have the Jabra Cruiser 2 and am very happy with it. I also like how it will play music from my phone over bluetooth and send it to the radio via FM...all wirelessly like magic.

I have had several versions of the BlueAnt, not too pleased with the frequent pairing I had to perform (when I had BB devices, never used with Android). I then went to Jawbone, which was ok, the noise cancelling wasn't great (BB Bold, and Milestone).

I am using an LG HBM-810 Bluetooth Headset and Solar Speakerphone, it works great and is always charged on the solar dock. Amazon has them for $30, I paid $150. (Paired with Galaxy Infuse 4G)

I've got the Motorola T505. I like it since it has an FM transmitter so I can also play my phone through the car speakers. The sound quality is what you'd expect for an FM transmitter but it works well enough for me. The people on the other end of the call can definitely tell you're on handsfree as the call quality is ok depending on how close the unit (and mic) is to you on the car visor.
