Default Fax machine with a preview option

I'm having some trouble getting good results with Google. And before anybody says it; yes fax machines are so "last century." However in this case I am helping somebody who is still in that century.

What I am looking for is a fax machine (or most likely an "All-in-one" printer) that will receive incoming faxes, store them in memory, and then let you choose which ones to print and which ones to delete. Apparently the fax spammers are still hard at work.

I have found one: Panasonic All in one

Does anybody know of any others out there? I was kind of hoping for HP, but this seems like a feature that isn't advertized as heavily. Either that, or somebody calls this feature some name that I am not aware of.

I dunno, I don't get any spam faxes anymore, and I used to on the fax # I have.

Plus it's easy to block #'s now so if you get them just block the #.

I don't know of any that have a preview feature, and if I was doing this now I'd be tempted to get an online fax service that just emails them to me and buy a nice scanner like the Fujitsu S1500 (which is an awesome product).

Nearly every computer comes, or used to come with a fax modem. Is using a computer for receiving incoming faxes a possibility?

Then your computer has to be on all the time, and it's another piece of software to maintain and possibly go wrong.

I like separate devices/services.

That's the key- used to. In addition to what Photon said, having a modem installed leaves you open to dialer viruses.

We ended up going with this one: HP 6500A For $50 not only do we get a fax machine, but also a printer/scanner.

Our copier receives our faxes and simply stores them as a file. Virtually none ever get printed. 90% of the faxes we receive are spam. Mostly we keep fax service going for the few times (such a s a tender closing) where we still need it.

However,I don't imagine you are looking for a hundreds of dollars per month copier lease.
