Avalanche Off Season Recap
Denver, CO - GM Swayze has been very busy on the trade front and not so busy in the UFA pool. The new faces coming in for the 2010-2011 season for the Avalanche include:

"We are very excited for this upcoming season. We have a lot of new faces in the dressing room and hope to create some chemistry." said the general manager. As for predictions here are the projected lines for next season:

As for predicting where the Avalanche will place next year GM Faith is not getting to high. "We will have to wait and see, we are holding on to our 1st round pick this year - thats for sure". This years roster has a mix of speed and skill which is what the team was lacking last year. The buzz around Colorado is very excited to see more goals next year but are scared of being too soft defensively. "We have a ton of faith (no pun intended) in Craig Anderson this year". As for future trades GM Faith has posted his new trade block and needs list:

Ed Jovanovski - willing to take a downgrade looking for a downgrade + good prospect or forward.
Campoli - looking for a more defensive minded d-man
Lukowich/Finger - Looking for upgrades on this guy. Willing to attach prospect and picks.
Ortmeyer/Adams - same as above.
