ZR Auto's Race the Base in Cold Lake
Anyone else going? I have a friend that owns a Ferrari and I'm thinking of making the trip with him to watch the goings on.
Basically it is a bunch of exotic car owners going up to Cold Lake on Aug 27-29 to race their cars at CFB Cold Lake.
http://www.zrauto.ca/race-base-challenge.php
The Enzo in the trailer belongs to the owner of ZR auto and is an insane car. Dude replaced the engine because it wasn't fast enough and had a FXX engine put in IIRC. Last year or the year before they had a similar type event at race city and it was pretty fun.
If I end up going I'll definitely be posting some pics/vids when I get back.

Zahir, the owner, showed up to the track one day wearing pants that were denim on one side and leather on the other. So awesome.
I love cars, a lot, but I have to admit if I was rich enough to own a super car it would suck having everyone assume you're like that crew and I'd be doing my best to keep my distance.

There is no doubt about that. Crazy nice cars though and insane speeds. FTR my buddy would be classified as one of those. He's Italian, drives a Ferrari, wears lots of D&G and thinks he's still 20.

Do they chase them with a CF-18 firing live rounds from its cannon? Because that would be sweet.

Yes but just a portion and I'm not sure how much. But for $1500/person I'd bet the amount going to charity should be pretty decent.

You forgot to mention leather ferrari ball cap over the tight shinny pony tail and the matching ferrari jean jacket. (Fist Pump!)

A friend of mine posted some pics of this event on her facebook. Wow. There were a ton of amazing exotics there. Looked like a blast. An Enzo and an FXX, although it had been jazzed out too much. Why do these guys have to douch it up so much? Simple tasteful elegance is so much nicer.

The FXX is actually an Enzo, just with an FXX conversion, apparently the only one in the world.

Yes, however there was one of each there, or two Enzo's if you like.

Zahir used to live in my parents neighbourhood. He was my hero back when I was 16. We'd always see him rolling around in his 40th anniversary Diablo and F40 with crazy F1 sounding Tubi exhaust.
